I’m excited to say that I have made the top 20 of the Hoosier Lottery Hometown Host contest. My video is one of 20 chosen from a field of 59 entries. Now, I need your vote!
Voting for this contest continues through Friday (8/9) at 11:59pm. The 5 leading vote-getters will get to participate in a live contest at the Indiana State Fair next Friday (8/16). The winner will then be named Honorary Hoosier Lottery Draw Talent.
The Hoosier Lottery is returning to TV (Fox 59 in Indianapolis, along with affiliates across the state) next month with live Daily 3 and Daily 4 drawings. This contest is a pretty cool marketing move by the Hoosier Lottery to help promote the return of televised Daily 3 and Daily 4 drawings. The lottery posted an audition script (from which you could deviate slightly) and accepted video submissions over a roughly 2 week span.
I believe you do have to sign up to vote, as they try to limit one person from voting a bunch of times. The sign-up process is very easy, then click view and vote, and look for the Shane Goad audition video. I appreciate it!
